The Story Behind the Wood
What is Cachichira wood ?
Cachichira is a rare hardwood found deep within the Amazonian rainforests of Bolivia and Brazil. Known for its exceptional strength, natural resistance, and beautiful grain patterns, Cachichira wood has been revered for centuries for its durability and timeless character.
Every slab is marked by decades of growth, untouched wilderness, and the rich textures of nature itself.
From Tree to Table
A Journey of Craftsmanship
Our story begins deep within the untouched Amazon, where our team — guided by local experts — ventures into the rainforest to find the most magnificent Cachichira trees.
After careful selection and sustainable harvesting, the logs are cut into slabs or custom shapes in a workshop near the forest edge. From there, they journey to Santa Cruz, Bolivia — home to our main woodshop — where every piece is meticulously crafted, shaped, and finished by hand.
Once completed, the tables and flooring are carefully packed into containers, shipped across the continent, and arrive at our workshop in Texas — ready to become part of extraordinary homes.
